Fat camp meals in Hainan, delivered to your room

Meal details checked with the camp’s materials 28 October 2026 (Taipei time)

Fat camp meals at the Hainan camp come three times a day, cooked on site and brought to your room. The camp says it buys ingredients fresh at nearby markets every day and cooks with calorie control in mind. Trays are built from fish or seafood, chicken, mixed-grain rice, vegetables, soup and fruit.

Seven fat camp meal trays

These images are based on the camp’s own photos of its trays. They show the kind of food you eat, not a fixed weekly menu.

How the meals work

Breakfast, lunch and dinner arrive at your door at the regular mealtimes, so after a session you can shower and rest while the food comes to you. A chef prepares everything in the camp kitchen. The camp says a nutritionist updates the menus from time to time and that portions are planned with calorie control in mind. You will not be cooking or counting calories yourself.

Across the trays, the pattern is clear: a lean protein such as steamed pomfret, salmon, yellow croaker or chicken; a smaller portion of mixed-grain rice, buckwheat noodles or potato; two vegetable dishes; a clear soup; and fruit such as pineapple or dragon fruit. That is the kind of plate the NHS describes for steady weight loss: plenty of vegetables, lean protein and wholegrain starch, without crash dieting.

Telling the camp what you can eat

Allergies, food you do not eat, and diets such as vegetarian or halal have not been confirmed yet. Put them in the health and diet notes when you book, and we check with the camp before you travel; if the camp cannot cater for you, cancel and get the deposit back. If you have diabetes or take medicine that affects your blood sugar, talk to your doctor first.

Very fast weight loss raises the risk of gallstones, according to the US National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, and very low calorie diets are not safe for everyone, says the NHS. Agree a sensible goal with the coaches.

After the camp

The camp says a coach follows up on your eating habits after you leave. The details are being confirmed; ask about them with your booking. Read about the rest of the programme or the rooms.
